Thank you so much for taking the time to learn more about us. We can only imagine how hard this decision must be for you. We would love the opportunity to meet with you, and get to know you better. We have been trying for many years to start our family without any success, which is why we are so excited for this next step towards bringing children into our family. It brings us a lot of excitement to think about calling children “ours” and bringing them into our home. We are hoping to find our special person out there in the world that will be brave with us in helping our family grow.
We want to know more about you- but first we’ll introduce ourselves. We are Cam and Janica. Our story started 9 years ago on a cold and foggy January night in Utah. I (Janica) was living with my Grandparents at the time. My sweet Grandma was always trying to be my matchmaker. She would try and set me up with every returned missionary that spoke in her ward. Cam was a friend to one of those boys she set me up with. To make a long story short, I liked Cam and we just clicked. We ended up seeing each other every night that week. We also spoke on the phone for hours upon hours that first week. After only a few short weeks, we knew we couldn’t live life without each other. We were married a few months later in the Bountiful, Utah LDS Temple on a beautiful day in May.
We are both really close with our parents and our siblings. Our family, and the love we have for our savior and his gospel are the most important things in our lives. We have tried to stay close with our nephews and love spending time with them. We love getting together for holidays when possible. One of the things we enjoy most is camping and boating with our families. We also enjoy getting together to just hang out. We think it is especially fun celebrating birthdays with family. We enjoy trying new foods and eating at new restaurants. On the weekends we love being together and doing whatever comes our way. Our weekends are not usually planned ahead of time. In the past we have been known to enjoy a car ride, or some late night shopping. As silly as it may sound, we are happy no matter what we are doing, as long as we are together. We enjoy being in the kitchen together. Janica loves it when Cam is the chef. Even though Cam rarely uses a recipe, he never disappoints! We have recently moved to Arizona where Cam has accepted a position with a hospital where he practices as a CRNA. He finished anesthesia school in Southern California where we had quite the adventure! We enjoyed going to the beach and amusement parks while we lived in California. Living by the ocean is something we truly miss. We had so many great experiences and made many wonderful friends during our time in California. Now that Cam has graduated, we are excited to see our future unfold and start our family. There has been nothing we have looked forward to more, than having our own family.
Even though it has been a trial not being able to have children of our own, we feel blessed in a way, and have enjoyed our time together alone. During the many years of trying to have our family, we have grown stronger together as a couple. Even though we think life is wonderful, we still feel there is something missing. We want nothing more than to have our own children. We want you to know that if you choose to place your child with us, we plan to share the love you have for them, with them.
