MORE ABOUT JANICA

Janica was born in Utah, but grew up in Arizona because her family moved there when she was very little. Janica is the oldest of her siblings. She has two younger brothers and one sister. She was always more of a quiet girl, but loved getting together with her friends for sleepovers and doing girly things. She loved being the oldest of her siblings. She started babysitting children in her ward when she was 12 yrs old, and babysat all through high school. She felt it gave her good experience being around children, and liked the thought of raising her own children someday.  She loved being involved in band.  She learned how to play the violin, flute, and french horn. She grew up playing softball and also played soccer for three years in high school. When Janica was 19 she moved to Utah and enjoyed living with friends for a year in Provo. She later moved to Ogden, where she lived with her Grandparents for a few years before she met Cam. After being married, Cam and Janica lived in the Ogden area for six years prior to moving to California for Cam's schooling. Janica loved going camping and boating with her family while growing up. She hopes to spend time with her own children at Lake Powell, and continue spending quality family time there. Janica attended a vocational school where she finished a medical assisting program. She was able to work for many years in doctors offices, and was able to provide for their family while Cam attended graduate school. After Cam's graduation he accepted a job in Arizona. The job he accepted makes is so they can live very close to Janica's family. She is very excited to be around her immediate family in Arizona, but she misses Cam's  family and her extended family in Utah. Cam's job makes it possible for Janica to stay at home, and she looks forward to the day that she is at home with children. This also makes it so she is available to help watch their nephews! Some of Janica's hobbies include reading, scrap booking, shopping, water skiing and kneeboarding. Another one of her favorite things to do is riding on the back of the quad with Cam.
